Halo: Campaign Evolved has three unique Bonus Missions, each with their own set of hidden Skulls that you'll have to track down to unlock various trophies/achievements in the game. Narratively speaking, the Operation: METEORITE missions serve as prequel missions to the main story in the Halo: Campaign Evolved remake, and provide larger context to Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson's relationship. The three Bonus Missions in Halo: Campaign Evolved are titled Boarding Action, The Most Dangerous Game, and Heavy Burden, and they are among the most unique aspects of the remake's various differences from the original game. They also include some of the most unique Skulls, such as Temperamental, which includes a multi-step process to unlock. This Guide is a work in progress, and images/missing information will be updated as soon as it becomes available. All Boarding Action Skull Locations In the first Bonus Mission, Boarding Action, you'll find the Malfunction Skull after clearing out the large hangar bay during Rally Point Alpha. Before moving forward with the objective, run to the opposite side of the room from where you entered to find a newly accessible door that was red before. The Skull is in there on a bridge. The Johnny Ammo Seed Skull is found during Rally Point Bravo, either by backtracking from the top floor of the room with the purple transport tube to the previous room, or by flying up to the third level of the previous room with Acrophobia. The Skull is on the third level easily visible on one of the bridges. Skull Rally Point Difficulty Location Effect Image Malfunction Alpha Any After clearing out the hangar bay of all enemies, go to the opposite end from where you entered to find a newly accessible door. The skull is in that room on a bridge. Each respawn randomly removes part of your HUD. Image Currently Unavailable Johnny Ammo Seed Bravo Any While infiltrating the Covenant Research Ship, clear the room with the purple tube and go to the top level. Find the door that leads to the previous area to reach its third floor, where the Skull will be placed on a bridge. You can also fly up there using the Acrophobia Skull. Reloading discards all remaining ammo in the magazine. Image Currently Unavailable Leadhead Delta Any Before following Johnson up the grav lift, follow the hallway on the left, hugging the left wall until you find the Skull. Headshots no longer deal bonus damage or instant kills. Image Currently Unavailable Finally, Leadhead can be found in Rally Point Delta. Before following Johnson up the Grav Lift, go to the hallway to the left and follow it to the left until it dead ends. The Skull is there on the floor. All The Most Dangerous Game Skull Locations The Most Dangerous Game Skulls include arguably one of the most obscure collectible Skulls in the game, Temperamental. It requires players to deplete a "high-value target's" (HVTs) shields three separate times at three different Rally Point Locations during the same playthrough. The targets are invincible, so you'll need to deplete their shields before they flee. The first HVT is in the area where the Jackals are sniping you as you come out of the canyon, up to your right. The second high-value target location is in open area with a Wraith at the far end. This is the same area where you find the Recession Skull. The HVT is on the very far end behind the wraith, and you'll need to get him with some headshots before he runs off. Before moving on, there is a locked door that can be opened up by shooting the two purple explosives on the above pillars, which is where you'll find the Recession Skull. Finally, the third HVT is found after exiting into a large open outdoor area, sniping from the ridge to your left. For each HVT, turn on your subtitles or listen for Johnson to indicate they see them in the area, it will make your life much easier. Once all three HVT's shields have been depleted, the Tempermantel Skull will spawn in the center of this area inside a pillar. Skull Rally Point Difficulty Location Effect Image Temperamental Alpha/Bravo/Charlie Any Requires depleting the shields of three high-value targets (HVTs) in the same playthrough. After doing so, the Skull will spawn in the center pillar in an arena after reaching Rally Point Charlie and eliminating the enemies. Listen for Johnson's cues about HVTs. See above description and images to the right for exact target locations in each Rally Point. Allies turn hostile more quickly if you kill friendlies. Image Currently Unavailable Recession Bravo Any In the area with the second high-value target, shoot the two purple explosives on the pillars to open the door below. Every shot consumes twice as much ammo. Image Currently Unavailable Ghost Charlie Any After leaving the area where you grabbed the Temperamental Skull, the Ghost Skull is in the next room immediately above you in a purple flame. You can use Acrophobia, grenade jumps, or scale the wall to reach it. Enemies no longer flinch when shot. Image Currently Unavailable Finally, the Ghost Skull can be found immediately after leaving the area where you got the Temperamental Skull, directly above you inside a purple flame above the door. You can fly up there with Acrophobia, grenade jump, or scale the wall to get up there. All Heavy Burden Skull Locations The final Bonus Mission in Halo: Campaign Evolved is Heavy Burden, and after getting the Tempermental Skull in the previous mission, this one's a cakewalk (literally, as it includes Grunt Birthday Party Skull). Eye Patch is the first Skull and can be found during Rally Point Alpha as you're about to cross a large bridge. You'll notice a smaller bridge to the left, and you can follow the path around to the "dead end," which actually has the Skull sitting there on the ground on the bridge. Grunt Birthday Party, a fan-favorite Skull, is found in a large "golden" room with three separate levels. You'll see some rock pillars jutting up from the ground, and you can use the middle level platform to jump over and grab the skull from on top of one of those rock pillars. Skull Rally Point Difficulty Location Effect Image Eye Patch Alpha Any There's a bridge near the beginning of the level with several enemies and another smaller bridge to your left. Before crossing the main bridge, go through the door and follow the path to the "dead end," where the Skull is sitting. Disables all weapon auto-aim. Image Currently Unavailable Grunt Birthday Party Bravo Any In the large golden area with three levels, the skull is found at the top of one of the rock pillars. Grunt headshots trigger confetti celebrations. Image Currently Unavailable Efficient Charlie Any While riding the platform out to the end of the level after it stops and you power it up again, four doors will open, then you'll need to jump to the area to your left. You'll have roughly 10 seconds to run to the far corner and grab the Skull before automatically dying. Enemies killed while you're at full health drop extra ammo. Image Currently Unavailable The final skull in the game (assuming you did the Bonus Mission last), is Efficient, and it's found as you are riding the platform out to the end of the level. After the platform stops and you have to restart it, count four doors opening and wait until the platform gets to the center of the room. Jump onto the area to your left, which will trigger a "return to mission" countdown. You'll have about 10 seconds to run to the far corner and grab the skull. If you've collected all other Skulls up to this point as well as tracked down all terminals in the game in every mission, you'll finally unlock the Collector’s Addition trophy, the Headhunter trophy, as well as the Parting Gifts trophy for completing Heavy Burden. Further, collecting Grunt Birthday Party should unlock LASO difficulty, assuming this was the last mission you did in Halo: Campaign Evolved.
