Urker was found dead on his 34th birthday. The Public Information Officer from Lafourche Parish told Page Six officers responded to his Louisiana home on Oct. 1 after receiving a call at 6:15pm. “Kenan Urker, 34, was found dead upon arrival,” the statement read. “We are continuing the death investigation. To this point in the investigation, we have found no evidence of foul play.” Urker’s fiancee, Blanchard, told People, “I’m in disbelief. I can’t think. I’ve screamed until my throat burns.” Blanchard, who shares daughter Auora with Urker, continued, “Ken was an amazing father and a man who was deeply loved. He will forever be my soulmate and my red string, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase.” She also mentioned the social media bullying he has endured, explaining, “Ken endured an unimaginable level of public scrutiny and relentless cyberbullying across social media platforms, including TikTok and Reddit,” she said. “The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure,” she said. “I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment.” She ended, “Above all, Ken loved our daughter, Aurora. She is a beautiful reflection of his enduring spirit, and through her, a part of him will always remain with us. “I will make sure she grows up knowing how deeply her father loved her and who he was beyond what strangers on the internet chose to say about him. “There are no words that can express the depth of this loss. I ask for privacy and compassion for our daughter, our families, and everyone grieving Ken during this incredibly painful time.” The “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up” star also told the outlet she suspects her partner died of an overdose. “I don’t know if it was intentional or not,” she said. “He was not in a good state of mind lately.” In an emotional TikTok Live, Urker’s sister, Autumn, alleged that her brother did not die “of natural causes.” The couple began dating when she was in prison for the 2015 murder of her mom, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. They got engaged in October 2018 one year after meeting, however eventually broke up. Blanchard then wed Ryan Scott Anderson in June 2022. The two divorced in 2024 and she soon rekindled with Urker.
