Recent reports have claimed that the Duchess of Sussex and former Suits actress is joining the cast of Guy Ritchie's crime comedy drama. These rumors surfaced as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry prepare to move back to the U.K. and as questions continue about whether she may return to the entertainment industry. In an interview with Town & Country, star and executive producer of the Netflix series, Theo James, has pushed back on recent speculation that Markle could join The Gentlemen season 3. However, he also did not completely rule out the possibility of her appearing in the show at some point. James, who also plays Eddie Horniman in the series, explained that reports about Markle being cast are untrue. He added that his current priority is focusing on The Gentleman season 2, as the performance of the second installment is crucial, as it will affect the success of the series' future. Although he dismissed the casting rumors surrounding Markle, James also acknowledged that details about the show’s future could always change.
