This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.Several new actors have joined the cast of Slow Horses season 7, including two from Guy Ritchie shows. New episodes of Slow Horses season 6 have been streaming every Wednesday on Apple TV, with the finale scheduled for October 21. The acclaimed spy thriller isn't ending there, though, as the streaming service has already ordered two more seasons. Based on the trajectory of past installments, season 7 is expected to premiere sometime in 2027, with filming having begun in October 2025. Now it's been revealed who will be starring alongside Gary Oldman when the show returns. RadioTimes reports that MobLand's Ethan Moorhouse and The Gentlemen's Joshua McGuire have signed on to Slow Horses season 7. Ritchie executive-produces MobLand, with Paramount+ currently releasing new episodes of season 2, and also created The Gentlemen. Aside from MobLand, Moorhouse has also appeared in Ludwig, Master of the Air, Citadel, The Power and The Moment. McGuire, meanwhile, has starred in several British shows, like EastEnders: E20, The Hour, Lovesick and Cheaters, and also appeared in Industry, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Saltburn and Artemis Fowl. Varada Sethu, Tuppence Middleton and Merab Ninidze are also joining Slow Horses season 7. Sethu is best known for Doctor Who, Jurassic World Dominion, Strike Back and Andor. Middleton played Lucy Smith in two Downton Abbey films and was also a series regular on Sense8 and The Forsytes. Ninidze has also had several TV roles over the years, including Homeland and Treadstone, and played a cardinal in the acclaimed film Conclave. He already has a history with Slow Horses, having voiced the character Vassily Rasnokov during season 6. It's possible that his casting for season 7 means the KGB spymaster will be seen on-screen, though nothing has been confirmed. Information about their Slow Horses characters hasn't been revealed yet. Additionally, James Callis is coming back to play Claude Whelan, a character who hasn't appeared on camera since season 5. Aside from star Oldman, no other returning cast members have been announced. Ever since it debuted in 2022, Slow Horses has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, with a nearly perfect Rotten Tomatoes score of 98%. The series has been nominated for several awards at the Emmys, Golden Globes, Actor Awards and Critics' Choice Awards, and won Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series and Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series at the Emmys. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, who oversees Slough House, an entity at MI5 where rejected agents are assigned. The series adapts Mick Herron's Slough House books, with the upcoming seventh season covering the events of Bad Actors, which prominently features Claude Whelan as he attempts to find a missing woman from a Downing Street think tank. Slow Horses season 7 will also see Jackson Lamb hunting down a mole inside the British government. The Slow Horses season 6 finale will be released Wednesday, October 21 on Apple TV.
