Gurugram woman biker says she's scared to ride alone after hit-and-run

Sia, the Gurugram woman biker, has said she is now scared to ride alone after a car chased and rammed her on the busy Golf Course Road a day ago. Speaking to India Today TV, Sia, whose original name is Shivani Chauhan, said one of the cars tried to block her path while the other vehicle followed her. “The driver wanted to hit me and throw me off,” she said, recalling how one car sped towards her, leaving her frightened by the sound of screeching tyres. At the time of the incident, Sia was riding a sports bike. Siya alleged that the men in the cars also made hand gestures, but she could not hear them as she was wearing a helmet. She has demanded an FIR against both vehicles and strict action against the accused. “After this incident, I felt very scared. I can ride a bike, but now I’m afraid to go alone,” she said.
