One 28-year-old techie’s monthly expenditure eventually reached Rs 93,290 after adding his car, food, shopping and lifestyle costs and his video has gone viral.Arjun Singh shared the video on Instagram breaking down where his money went each month. Despite living in a shared 2 BHK, rent was only one part of his expenses.Apart from the rent, a cook, maid and car cleaner cost another Rs 4,000. He also spent around Rs 1,000 on rented appliances, including a washing machine and refrigerator.Food took up a sizeable chunk of his budget. Arjun said his grocery bill had risen to Rs 14,790 after he became more serious about fitness, with protein and other supplements adding to the cost. He spent another Rs 5,000 eating out with friends and around Rs 5,000 on food ordered online. Then came his car expenses. His monthly EMI was Rs 20,000, while fuel cost around Rs 7,000.His lifestyle spending continued to add up. Arjun spent about Rs 2,000 on coffee and Rs 2,500 on badminton. Shopping cost him between Rs 6,000 and Rs 7,000 a month, while subscriptions and Wi-Fi accounted for Rs 2,000. His electricity bill was around Rs 4,000. One expense he managed to avoid was a gym membership. Arjun said he used the gym at his housing society or office, both of which were free for him.After adding everything up, his monthly spending came to Rs 93,290. Arjun admitted that the figure seemed too high even to him.
