Coastal volunteers spent eight days collecting trash from beaches along the Gulf Coast that artists used as materials for creating artworks displayed at the Mississippi Aquarium in Gulfport that convey the dangers of pollution to oceanic environments. The exhibit, “Toxic Beauty: Plastic’s Hidden Costs,” is available through Sept. 7.
