GTA 6′s Collector’s Box Gator Statue Can Now Be 3D Printed: ‘$400 And No Disc? F**k You Rockstar’

Last week, Rockstar Games revealed a $400 Grand Theft Auto 6-themed collector’s box that doesn’t include the game, but does include merch based on a fictional TV show found in the upcoming open-world game. Some players aren’t happy with the box’s contents, and at least one of these disgruntled fans has gone ahead and recreated the included cartoon gator statue and shared it for anyone to 3D print, while also making it clear they aren’t happy with GTA 6 skipping physical discs. On September 24, as spotted by T5G on Twitter, Cults3D user Jouhna117 uploaded their recreation of the GTA 6 gator statue to the 3D printing website. This version looks remarkably similar to the statue included in the upcoming $400 collector’s box, but of course, it doesn’t cost that much to download and print this fan-created model. Instead, Jouhna117 is charging less than $2 for their recreation. On the bottom of the 3D model is a message that you aren’t going to find on the official version in the box: “$400 and no disc? FUCK YOU ROCKSTAR.” Elsewhere on the page for the knock-off gator statue, Jouhna117 further referenced the price and the lack of a disc. “Rockstar, if you’re reading this, like, $400 USD and no disc—what’s up, man,” wrote Jouhna117. “That said, enjoy it. 16 cm tall. Recommendation for resin printing.” The overall aesthetics of the $400 collector’s box and its inclusion of cartoon characters from a fake show that fans have yet to see have definitely rubbed some fans the wrong way, with many wanting a statue based on Jason and Lucia and more direct references to the Vice City seen in the game and not some cartoon series. As of September 28, the $400 collector’s box is still available to pre-order on Rockstar’s site.
