Sign in to your TheGamer account A reliable insider has shared some early details about Grand Theft Auto 6's various editions, suggesting that it'll have both a collector's edition and some console bundles. If you've been paying even a tiny bit of attention over the past few days, then you're no doubt aware that Best Buy has seemingly leaked the pre-order start date for GTA 6. There have been tons of murmurs (and some wild theories) about a potential GTA 6 news drop for some time now, but Best Buy's email suggested that we're just a few days away from something big. Now that we have an inkling about when GTA 6's pre-orders could begin, all that's left to find out is exactly how much it's going to cost and what editions are going to go up for sale. An insider has seemingly given us some idea of what to expect, including suggesting that, unlike Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 6 will get a proper collector's edition. Reliable Insider Says There Will Be Six Ways To Pre-Order GTA 6 I'm Already Dreading The Queue Following all of the rumours about Best Buy leaking the pre-order date, insider DetectiveSeeds confirmed that the date matched up with what they'd been told some time ago. The insider then said that they were given the pricing, bundles, and various "structures" of GTA 6's pre-orders. Your browser does not support the video tag. While DetectiveSeeds is "choosing not to put the pricing info out" due to how it could impact the market, they did share some of the details that they'd been told. According to them, there will be six different ways of purchasing GTA 6, including three digital and physical tiers (likely meaning Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate), and one that is "more rare". If you don't speak tat like I do, that rarer edition with "more stuff" is very likely a collector's edition, which is good news since Rockstar's last game, Red Dead Redemption 2, strangely didn't have one and opted for some separate merchandise. That's not all, though, as DetectiveSeeds also claims that there are two editions tied to consoles, including a Pro and standard bundle. I can only hope that GTA 6's collector's edition is better than GTA 5's, which had a hat and a security deposit bag. At least it's not Hugh Jackman Max Payne... Like with anything that's claimed about GTA 6, it's worth taking these claims with a massive pinch of salt until anything official is announced. That being said, it's really not hard to believe that Rockstar is going to try to make the most out of GTA 6's pre-orders with as many editions as possible. Next What GTA 6’s Delay Means For The Games Industry The entire release calendar moves every time GTA 6 does, so how will the latest delay impact everything else?
