Sign in to your TheGamer account It's been a pretty hectic week for Grand Theft Auto 6 fans, with leaks pouring out left and right, giving away crucial details about the game, whether you want to see them or not. It's difficult to imagine getting GTA 6 news from official sources right now, but sure enough, what appears to be the game's first proper preview was recently published by an outlet called Dazed Club. While we've seen a lot of the game via leaks so far, this preview does confirm certain features in the game that haven't been shown off just yet. For example, Dazed Club reveals that the game will include a weight and muscle system that will see both Jason and Lucia gain weight or muscle depending on their actions and how much they eat. Rockstar Games Another feature that this preview also confirms is a social media system. It was heavily hinted at by the game's first official trailer, that featured clips of a crocodile wrangler and people twerking on top of cars, and fans theorized that there may be a fully functional social media system within GTA 6. That was then further teased by a description of the game by Amazon Brazil. Well, it has now finally been confirmed. In Dazed Club's article, they explain that the game will feature "there are working social media feeds." They also explain that you'll be able to follow the careers of the game's rising celebrities, and watch their posts go viral using the platform, so it does sound like there will be quite a lot of interactivity in there. It's a small detail, but it's nice to have all of those fan theories confirmed ahead of the game's actual gameplay reveal tomorrow. Sure, a lot of the surprise is gone, but I can almost guarantee that Rockstar most likely has something pretty special lined up if Netflix was hankering to give the studio a big bag of cash to get first dibs.
