However, we’ve now been treated to a bit of official Grand Theft Auto 6 news, as well as influencers sharing that they’ve previewed the game, and Rockstar itself now addressing the leaks that have spilled out onto the internet lately. For instance, many fans have now seen what gameplay will look like in several scenarios, mostly with Grand Theft Auto 6’s Jason Duval as the playable protagonist. Now, Rockstar is slowly beginning to step into the limelight to combat these leaks, and we now have a bunch more information on the game, including how the experience of playing as Jason and Lucia will differ or affect each character. In particular, the ability to play as and swap between Lucia Caminos and Jason in Grand Theft Auto 6 will have a huge impact on storytelling, as per Dazed. Jason and Lucia are described as “an ex-military drug runner and a fighter fresh out of prison, respectively.” This teases how differently they might be in terms of moment-to-moment gameplay, but it’s fascinating that players “can choose to either play as a couple, or go off and cause chaos independently.” CyberLeek’s Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks have undoubtedly revealed a lot more than Rockstar had hoped, with Rockstar obviously hoping that nothing else would leak. Still, it’s great to learn more about Grand Theft Auto 6 that these leaks haven’t already spoiled, including a tiny tease of Jason and Lucia’s gameplay. Choices will apparently have consequences that cut deeper than in any previous Rockstar game, and it can only be imagined how immensely one choice might affect the story, much less how much it may affect the character that fans aren’t playing as at the time. With this in mind, it’s easy to see how Grand Theft Auto 6’s “Bonnie and Clyde-type narrative” will surely be the star of the show. Grand Theft Auto 6’s Netflix Extended Look airs tomorrow, and there’s no telling what other marketing plans Rockstar has up its sleeve for the next few months. Meanwhile, it’s a relief to hear word from Rockstar, and fans hopefully won’t spoil their dinner too much when it comes to how many of these incessant leaks they’re consuming on a daily basis. With any luck, the Netflix/YouTube showcase will give us our first official look at how Jason and Lucia play beyond the Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks we’ve received thus far.
