GTA 6 Leaks Are Reportedly "Over A Year Old"

Sign in to your TheGamer account Over the past 24 hours, GTA fans have been whipped into a frenzy by a single person leaking what appears to be genuine gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto 6, all in the name of the common gamer. It's been a pretty wild ride, and while there are several clips out there right now, it all started with a simple clip of Jason playing basketball. More leaks have since come out, which showcase driving and the game's second protagonist, Lucia, walking around as well, but if you're currently sat there thinking that these leaks are indicative of what the final product is going to look like, you're probably mistaken. GTA 6 Leaks Are Still Years Old First reported by GamesRadar, reliable insider Nate the Hate has stressed that people use some semblance of critical thinking, after tit was revealed that media previews for GTA 6 were reportedly underway. With some naturally thinking that this footage was from said previews, Nate the Hate claimed that "the leaked footage is over a year old." That was later backed up by the GTA 6 leaker — who is going by the name Cyber Leeks — themselves, as they apparently claimed over the past 24 hours that all the footage that they've been sharing is from a build of the game back in 2023. They also claim that they're going to share more in the future, the last of which dropped less than an hour ago. That's not wholly surprising, especially since the footage does look a little bit janky and dated, but it's also mightily impressive that the footage we've seen is probably around three years old, and it just looks like an almost finished GTA 6. We're already seeing minor details and other fun observations, so with three years on top of that, we can pretty much guarantee that GTA 6 is going to be one of the best looking games out there, at the very least. Then again, it's Rockstar, so that was always going to be the case.
