Today is going to be one of the biggest days in GTA 6’s painfully long history. Not just because we’re finally getting a proper look at the game years after its reveal and following multiple delays, but because Rockstar finally gets to reclaim what it lost over the last week and a bit thanks to Cyberleek. As you no doubt know, Cyberleek is the hacker group that has been sharing leaked gameplay footage from GTA 6 nearly every day since the start of last week. Yesterday’s leak, which showed the first story spoilers from the game, had some worrying implications, but it seems like Cyberleek might actually be wrapping up. Cyberleek Is Reportedly Cashing Out From GTA 6 Leaks It Might Be Over Before It Truly Started Over on Twitter, reliable GTA insider videotech shared a report from GTA Forums member Vice Cit, who previously reported on Cyberleek’s crypto earnings. Vice Cit said that they’d dug through the $CYBERLEEK transactions and discovered that roughly $286,000 was recently withdrawn from transaction fees. That money was then divided between four transactions and sent to a few wallets, ending in three places; KuCoin, CCE.Cash, and a few wallets that still haven’t been moved. Those transactions imply that “at least two people” are involved in Cyberleek, and that they’ve been using various methods to withdraw the crypto. Vice Cit also points out that CCE.Cash is a “swap service” that would include information that law enforcement could use, potentially making it easier to figure out who’s behind Cyberleek. A more detailed account of it all is going to be shared soon, but for now it sounds like the group might be trying to cut its losses and run. This raises a lot of questions about just how much access Cyberleek actually had to GTA 6, as it might simply have run out of footage to share. That, or it’s realised Take-Two and Rockstar might not be far off the trail, or that GTA fans might get bored of the leaks with official gameplay coming out later today. Either way, it looks like Cyberleek might be done.
