Even though it hasn’t been that long since pre-orders opened for GTA 6 and we got a ton of new information about the world’s most-anticipated game (both good and bad), that hasn’t stopped the silence that’s followed from feeling deafening. Take-Two promised that marketing would start in the summer but, two months in, we’ve had basically nothing. This is par for the course with Rockstar considering it’s well aware that it holds all the cards but, perhaps unsurprisingly, the lack of new information has caused some GTA fans to panic about the game getting hit with another surprise delay. If that’s you, try to relax, as a reliable insider says that there’s no need to worry and thinks good things are coming very soon. NateTheHate Expects August To Be A Big Month For GTA 6 Rockstar Is Just Sticking To The Plan Over on Twitter, reliable insider NateTheHate took the time to answer some questions about GTA 6 and ease the worries of some concerned fans. After saying that he’ll share some details about GTA 6 closer to the time and being asked if there was a delay incoming, Nate said that GTA 6 will arrive in November “as planned”. This wasn’t enough for one Twitter user, who suggested that the lack of a gameplay trailer this close to launch was “very suspicious”. In response, Nate said that there’s “no reason for concern”, as Rockstar is just sticking to its marketing plan. To be fair, it is still summer, so it’s more a case of everyone needing to be patient instead of a deadline being missed. As for when that marketing plan is actually going to kick off, Nate replied to a comment asking whether the next trailer will be a gameplay deep dive and said that he expects to see “a fair bit” of GTA 6 next month. That didn’t quite answer the question, but it does hint that whatever’s shown in August might be a bit more substantial than just Trailer 3. Or, glass half full, maybe we get both! Although I think that this is really just some fans getting themselves worked up and not remembering that Rockstar does whatever it wants, Nate’s strong track record should hopefully be enough to calm everyone down from expecting the worst. Just don’t go panicking again when we’re a day into August, and nothing has been shown yet.
