Green Party co-leaders Chlöe Swarbrick and Marama Davidson are set to speak to media following speeches at the party's AGM.The announcement on Saturday comes hours after the party called for a one-year pause on new AI data centre consents until stricter national rules are in place.In March, Singapore-based company Datagrid was given resource consent to develop a new $3.5 billion data centre in Southland.Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has rejected the moratorium and said data centres are vital for economic growth.
