Packers head coach Matt LaFleur says they’ll let the NFL handle the case, and the team will stick by Jacobs at this time. “We’re going to allow the NFL to do its process, but I would anticipate him being a member of us moving forward,” LaFleur said Monday. “That’s really all I have to speak on.”The Packers became aware of the previous allegations only after records were released last week. Those records indicated three women came forward after Jacobs’ arrest earlier this year.Jacobs was placed on the league’s exempt list until he returned in Week 7 against the Lions in October after he plead no-contest to an offseason incident. He was convicted of battery and fined $1,000 and agreed to a deferred judgment agreement on a charge of damage to property. While Jacobs is currently eligible to play, the league has not closed his case. Up next, the Packers will travel east to face the New England Patriots. A journalist of 19 years, Andrew Hammond's career has taken him from Wichita, KS to Birmingham, AL.
