Govt decreases petrol price by Rs0.35, increases diesel by Rs5.71 per litre

The government reduced petrol prices by Rs0.35 while hiking high-speed diesel by Rs5.71 per litre to counteract the impact of volatile global oil prices amid renewed tensions in the Persian Gulf. With these adjustments, petrol now costs Rs315.80 and diesel Rs360.06 per litre. These changes, effective from July 21, reflect the administration's efforts to balance domestic fuel costs with international market dynamics.
