Alongside a price hike on the Google TV Streamer, the Nest lineup is also seeing prices go up effective immediately on nearly every camera and doorbell that’s currently available. As mentioned in another post, the Google TV Streamer just got a $50 price hike – a 50% increase over its original price tag. Google is also rolling out price hikes across the rest of its smart home ecosystem, the Nest lineup, though to a lesser degree. Google TV Streamer gets $50 price increase The Google Store is now showing updated pricing across all five Nest products – the three camera models and the two doorbells, too. Prices have gone up by $20-30 in the US, around an 11% increase on most models. Today’s adjustments are as follows: Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor, battery): Now $199.99, prev $179.99 Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen): Now $199.99, prev $149.99 Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen): Now $129.99, prev $99.99 Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen): Now $199.99, prev $179.99 Nest Doorbell (battery): Now $199.99, prev $179.99 The only product left unaffected, at least for now, is the Nest Cam with Floodlight bundle. It remains $279.99, with the added margin from the floodlight presumably absorbing the $20 price hike on the battery-powered Nest Cam. Google Home Speaker, Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen), Nest Thermostat, and Nest Hub (2nd gen) are also unaffected at this time. As it stands, this price hike is mainly seen at the Google Store, but some third-party retailers are still showing the original pricing. Check the links below to check on pricing as you may be able to place an order before prices go up! The best deal we’re seeing right now is on the Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen) specifically in “Berry,” which Amazon is selling for around $85.
