She penned: “My Queen had her homegoing yesterday. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! “A huge thank you to each and every one of you who came out to support our family. It means more than words typed here can ever say. “And let me tell you Althea Cole was a mighty woman. She described her mother as “strong, resolute, proud, witty & smart”, adding that Althea raised her and her two siblings ” immaculately.” Marverine continued: “Mum, I feel extremely lucky & privileged to be your only daughter. “I’m not sure what to do without you now, except continue to exalt you and honour you with every fibre of my being.
