Glow Up’s Leomie Anderson quits show after three series on air – and is replaced by beauty YouTuber

SUPERMODEL Leomie Anderson has quit as host of BBC series Glow Up after three series. The programme, which sees budding make-up artists compete for a life-changing prize, has been on air since 2019. NikkieTutorials – real name Nikkie de Jager – has 18.5 million followers on Instagram and is the fourth star to take the helm. Stacey Dooley was the original host for series one and two in 2019 and 2020, while Maya Jama followed for two series in 2021 and 2022. Dutch influencer Nikkie, 32, said: “I’m so incredibly honoured to take over from Leomie, and I promise I’ll take very good care of this baby. I’ve been lucky enough to pop into the Glow Up studio as a guest judge for quite a few seasons now… but this time I’m staying! Most read in Showbiz “Make-up has been my entire world for as long as I can remember, so getting to be part of the Glow Up family in this whole new way really is a dream come true.” It remains to be seen what Victoria’s Secret model Leomie will work on next but her broad media career has already seen her host her own podcast – Role Model with Leomie Anderson, and appear on Celebrity Gogglebox and Drag Race UK.
