GK Barry has poked fun at Maura Higgins and Danny Jones as she admitted an I’m A Celebrity reunion will never happen after the kiss scandal. During the latest episode of her podcast Saving Grace, she was joined by her new co-host for Big Brother: The Group Chat. Talk soon turned to Grace’s stint in the jungle as Kate asked her if she’s kept in touch with any of her former jungle buddies. She told her that she sees Reverend Richard Coles and Melvin O’Doom the most as well as Oti Mabuse at Loose Women. Kate asked: “Do you all say you’re going to do a reunion.” Appearing awkward, Grace quipped: “I don’t know if mine could do a reunion… onto the next,” before laughing out loud. Danny and Maura, 35, shocked the showbiz world when they were spotted enjoying a drunken kiss last year. He penned: “Hello everyone. Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. “I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. “I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.” I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding and support. “See you all soon, Danny,” he signed off. In September last year, he risked an awkward run-in with Maura as they reunited on stage to collect an NTA gong for their series of the ITV show. With Ant and Dec in South Africa filming the upcoming spin-off sequel – Danny took lead on the speech. He ended the acceptance speech by saying: “Thanks you so much to all the viewers and the voters we love you all. Have an amazing night.” It’s unclear whether the pair actually interacted over the course of the night, with Danny having his arm around Melvin Odoom and the Love Island star standing with Coleen Rooney.
