The I'm A Celebrity star, 27, who rose to fame on TikTok, has bravely spoken out for the first time about the harrowing ordeal. Grace said she was raped by an older man whom she was reporting to during a week of work experience in her second year of college. Grace said he had offered her a lift to work, but things became sinister when instead of heading to the office, he drove to a deserted park where he demanded oral sex. She told The Sun: 'As we were driving in that morning, he kept touching my leg, which was making me uncomfortable, although I didn’t feel able to ask him to stop. There was a massive imbalance of power going on, which he was 100% taking advantage of.'I didn’t know what else to do except go along with what he was telling me. Resisting or fighting back felt like it might make things worse. There was never a moment in my mind where I thought I could say no to what was happening. I was only 17 and scared. I wasn’t able to process the situation and think logically.' GK Barry has revealed she was raped when she was 17 years old. She said at the time she 'blamed herself' and felt the work experience was a 'make or break' moment as she was having to do an extra year at college after failing her GCSEs. She continued: 'Rape. It’s taken me 10 years to realise that’s what it was. I know now he had a position of power. He was significantly older than me. I have come to terms with the fact it was really f**ked up, and he shouldn’t have done it.'Grace stayed silent for a year but when she heard another girl was heading there for work experience, she confided in her teacher. Police were then informed and also her mother, who Grace said was 'in shock and devastated'. However after sharing what happened with a female police officer, the case was dismissed due to lack of evidence. The Loose Women star then headed to Nottingham Trent University to do film studies and admitted she 'went off the rails' as she struggled to come to terms with what happened. Grace admitted she hasn't had any therapy but confided in her girlfriend Ella early on in their relationship about what had happened. Ella was incredibly supportive. She added: 'It feels heavy, but I avoid places where I might see him. I don’t even like driving past where I did my work experience.' Grace bravely shares her story in her new book, It’s Giving Life, in the hope it will help others who have been through similar situations. She commented she 'always thought rape was someone in a dark alleyway jumping out at you – but it wasn’t like that at all'.
