Girl assaulted while working at Wendy’s: Richmond Heights Police Blotter

One employee was sent home but waited for her daughter, 17, in the parking lot and attacked her when she came outside. The incident is under investigation.Property damage: Chardon RoadThe owner of Sands Company Jewelers found a hole in a windowpane at the store when arriving for work Sept. 3.Officers suspected that it had been struck by a BB and found one on the sidewalk.No suspects were identified.Domestic violence: Swetland BoulevardA man, 18, was arrested for domestic violence Sept. 2 after an incident at his home involving his brother and father.The incident occurred during an argument about marijuana being used. Suspicion: Brushview DriveA woman said Sept. 1 that she received an alert on her phone that a tracking device was in her vehicle. She was able to ping it with her phone and found it under the hood. She said she was not feuding with anybody and suspected that her husband may have placed it there. Stolen vehicle: Richmond RoadManagement at Enterprise Rent-A-Car reported Sept. 2 that a vehicle was not returned after being rented by a man, who was supposed to have returned it Aug. 18.Officers tried calling the man but could not get a hold of him.The business later reported that their recovery company was able to locate and tow the vehicle.Domestic violence: Chestnut LaneA woman tried to run over her live-in boyfriend with her car at the Dorchester apartments Sept. 1. She was arrested for domestic violence and the man was taken directly to the Lyndhurst Municipal Court to see a judge on an outstanding warrant.
