NewsUK News A SIX-year-old girl has been killed and a second child injured in a horror crash between a lorry and a car on a major A-Road. Emergency services were scrambled to the A12 in Colchester, Essex, just after 10.30am on Monday morning. Essex Police said the collision involved a lorry and a car on the northbound road close to Junction 28. A second child also sustained a leg injury and was rushed to hospital for treatment. Cops said no arrests were made at the scene with the driver of the lorry passing all road-side tests. Detective Inspector Mark Fraser, of the serious collision investigation unit, said: “First and foremost, my thoughts are very much with this young child’s family and wider loved ones.
