He was quickly rushed to hospital and an investigation into the stabbing was subsequently launched by Nottinghamshire Police. Two teens, 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, have since been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Police officers could be seen guarding the cordon as investigators continue to gather evidence. The force has since urged anyone with information on the stabbing or nearby CCTV footage to come forward. Detective Inspector Kayne Rukas, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our inquiries are at a very early stage. “But a man has suffered serious injuries and we are working to understand exactly what has happened. Most read in The Sun “We know there will be concern locally, but two arrests have been made, and we currently believe this was an isolated incident with no wider risk. “Carlton Road will have been busy with passing traffic at this time so we’d like to hear from anyone who spotted anything unusual or has recorded footage they can share with officers.” Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident 567 of August 10.
