Hirashita scattered 5 points during that stretch, including the two-pointer that sealed the victory for Japan. Amyah Espano put up 3 points and 3 rebounds in the silver finish, Kennan Ka added 2 points and 4 rebounds, while Maria Pasilang contributed 4 rebounds. Despite the heartbreaking ending as they absorbed their only loss in the tournament, Gilas Women delivered the Philippines its first-ever 3×3 basketball medal in the Asian Games. Meanwhile, Gilas Men missed out on the bronze after a 21-10 defeat to Iran.
