Gigi Hadid Reveals What Makes Bradley Cooper Relationship "Different"

The supermodel—who sparked marriage rumors with Cooper earlier this month, before reports seemingly debunked the speculation—gave insight into how her romance with the Silver Linings Playbook star compares to her previous relationships. “What's beautiful about my current relationship,” Hadid shared in a Vogue France cover story published Aug. 25, “and so different from what I've experienced before, is the ability to be deeply honest.” As the 31-year-old explained, she and Cooper are able “to say what we think, when we think it.” And while Hadid—mom to daughter Khai, 5, with ex Zayn Malik—admitted that this ability to be completely candid is not always easy, she noted, “If it's impossible, it probably means it's not the right person.” In the nearly three years since the pair first sparked romance rumors in October 2023, they’ve both continued to make waves in their respective careers—and are navigating the ups and downs with each other by their side.After all, Hadid—who made her onscreen acting debut in the comedy series Not Suitable for Work in June—noted that she and Cooper discuss their jobs together. “We don't necessarily understand all the challenges of each other's jobs,” she admitted, “but the important thing is to have someone who supports you—and helps you stay grounded.” As Hadid emphasized, a beautiful relationship is a “two-person journey.”Kevin Mazur/MG26/Getty Images for The Met Museum/Vogue/Karwai Tang/WireImageAlthough she and Cooper have kept their romance rather private—including not yet addressing the status of their relationship after they were recently spotted wearing bands on their ring fingers—she’s publicly shared one of the qualities she admires most about the 51-year-old.
