GHA Discovery: Receive Lifetime Top Tier Elite Status—No Stay Required—Or $5,000 In Stay Credits

GHA Discovery is giving away ten D$5,000 hotel credits and ten lifetime Titanium memberships in a new promotion running through October 31. Registration earns one entry. No hotel stay is required. They’ve branded it the “D$50,000 Giveaway for Your Getaways” but it’s ten prizes of D$5,000 each, not one $50,000 grand prize. Ten additional members will receive the program’s highest published elite tier for life. GHA Discovery is a coalition loyalty program used by 55 independent hotel brands and about 1,000 hotels in 100 countries. These include Anantara, Viceroy, Kempinski, Capella, Corinthia, The Leela, Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL, Outrigger, NH Hotels and The Set. I’ve been positive about the program since its 2021 relaunch. GHA Discovery used to be an experiences program but they added a currency – so you no longer need to give up points to stay with them – and it works just like hotel credit. It’s (expiring) cash to use against room rate and other hotel charges. They also made status much easier to earn. The program gives smaller premium brands a loyalty platform with scale. The footprint is modest in the United States, and benefit delivery is going to rely heavily on individual properties. But I’ve received very strong value from the program, including substantial upgrades at the Kempinski Cancun, Viceroy Washington DC, Hotel Zena and I had a great stay at NH Collection Palazzo dei Dogi in Venice. How The Giveaway Works Members can collect sweepstakes entries three ways between September 1 and October 31: Register for the promotion: Once per member. This is the no-purchase required entry. Complete an eligible stay: Five entries for each completed stay booked through GHA Discovery or a participating hotel brand’s own direct channels during the promotion. Visit a participating hotel: Scan the promotion’s on-property QR code for one entry per brand. No stay is required. GHA says it will draw 20 winners by December 7. Registering is free, so of course I would do it. I would not book a hotel stay just to collect the lottery tickets. But winning lifetime top tier status is pretty cool. They’re Also Offering Guaranteed D$50 After registering, complete a stay of at least two consecutive nights at a GHA Discovery brand where you have not stayed during 2026 and earn D$50. This can be earned once per member at each new brand, not merely once for the entire promotion. Register before the stay. The reservation must have been made on or after September 1. Book through GHA Discovery or the hotel brand’s own website or app. Online travel agencies, bank travel portals, tour operators and other ineligible rates do not count. Make a stay of at least two nights and check out by October 31. The brand must be new to you during calendar year 2026. The D$50 stacks with normal earnings. A Titanium member spending $500 in eligible pre-tax hotel charges would earn D$35 as the normal 7% rebate plus the D$50 promotion bonus—a total of D$85, or a 17% effective rebate. Promotional D$50 credits expire after six months. What Lifetime Titanium Status Is Worth GHA Discovery Titanium normally requires 30 nights, $15,000 in eligible spending or stays at three different brands during a calendar year. (That last option can mean earning top published status with just three one-night stays in the same city.) GHA has also been generous with status matches, and members can currently earn Titanium through Blacklane rides. Titanium includes: 7% back in Discovery Dollars, with regular D$ expiring after 24 months A two-category room upgrade, subject to availability at check-in 11 a.m. early check-in and 4 p.m. late check-out, subject to availability An enhanced welcome amenity and an additional brand-specific benefit Breakfast for the member and one guest at participating brands The ability to share Titanium status with one other member after earning the tier through the normal qualification rules Register before any GHA activity during the promotion.
