Loved Georgina Rodriguez's eye-blinding wedding necklace? Beyonce wore it first. The necklace Georgina Rodriguez wore for her wedding was worn to Met Gala 2025 by Beyonce. (Photos: AP, Chopard)When Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez announced their engagement last year, the oh-so-massive ring practically broke the internet. It was almost 37 carats, by the way. And now that the couple has finally shared glimpses of their intimate wedding ceremony in an exclusive Vogue feature, our eyes are, of course, once again glued to those utterly ogle-worthy diamond jewels. For her bridal look, Georgina Rodriguez wore the breathtaking Chopard Garden of Kalahari necklace, a spectacular piece centred around a rare 50-carat, D-flawless brilliant-cut diamond. The necklace is no ordinary statement jewel either - it carries more than 146 carats of additional diamonds, making it every bit as extravagant as the occasion demanded. Here is a glimpse of the stunning jewels Georgina wore on her wedding day in the behind-the-scenes video shared by makeup and hair artist Fer Martinez:Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the mega-watt necklace has made a starry appearance. Pop sensation Beyonce had previously worn the very same Chopard creation to the 2025 Met Gala, where she chose to style it without the three detachable “petal” pendants. (Photo: AP) Rodriguez, however, went all out, incorporating the necklace’s other two diamond pendants into her bridal jewellery look as earrings. One featured a spectacular 25-carat pear-shaped diamond, while the other showcased a 26-carat heart-shaped stone. The Garden of Kalahari necklace and its three detachable pendants. In Vogue’s accompanying wedding shoot, she was seen wearing a bracelet set with two emerald-cut diamonds weighing 21 and 14.7 carats, surrounded by another 13.1 carats of diamonds. The bracelet from Chopard’s “most precious” jewellery set ever produced: the Queen of Kalahari collection. (Photo: Chopard) What makes these jewels even more fascinating is the story behind the collection. The necklace, earrings and bracelet all belong to Chopard’s Garden of Kalahari collection, created from the extraordinary Queen of Kalahari—a 342-carat rough diamond discovered in Botswana. The exceptional stone was painstakingly cut and transformed into 23 individual diamonds over the course of an entire year, each one showcasing the remarkable purity and brilliance that the collection is now known for.So, while Rodriguez’s wedding jewels may have looked like the ultimate display of bridal opulence, they also carried a rather glamorous piece of jewellery history- with Beyonce having already given that iconic 50-carat necklace its Met Gala moment.- EndsPublished By: Medha ChawlaPublished On: Aug 18, 2026 16:04 IST
