Gabriel’s effort put his side 4-1 up on 86 minutes, with Shea Lacey having scored twice and Amir Ibragimov netting the other. His goal swiftly got plenty of attention among United fans on X. One wrote: “He’s moving like a young Neymar wtf”. And a second gushed: “He’s actually a superstar bloody hell”. A third swooned: “Genuinely ridiculous how good this lad is”. First team boss Michael Carrick was in attendance at the Under-21s’ clash with Ipswich last week. Carrick said of Gabriel: “I really enjoyed the game.
