‘Gentlemen’ star Theo James has blunt response to Meghan Markle casting buzz

“Gentleman” star Theo James chimed in on Meghan Markle casting buzz. When asked about recent rumors an ex-royal may join Season 3 of the Netflix show, the actor told Town & Country, “Yes, Fergie is joining.” The “Divergent” star, 41, quipped on Wednesday that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, would “be playing [his] love interest.” Theo James weighed in on Meghan Markle’s potential casting in “The Gentleman.” NETFLIX The actor (pictured above on Wednesday) called rumors “mainly a lot of hot air.” James Veysey/Shutterstock James went on to call the speculation “mainly a lot of hot air.” He told the outlet, “At the moment, we’re just trying to get as many eyes on Season 2, and then Season 3 will happen soon.” The show, notably, came out in March 2024 with the second season premiering Thursday — and Page Six recently confirming the show has been renewed for a third installment. One week before the “White Lotus” alum’s cryptic comments about Markle, Netflix boss Manda Levin fueled chatter about the Duchess of Sussex. “All bets are off,” she said at the Edinburgh TV Festival in August when questioned. The retired royals returned to be closer to King Charles III, we hear, and are reportedly house hunting in the North Cotswolds. We’re told Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, will attend a posh UK prep school that costs more than $35,000 a year. Community Guidelines Welcome to the Page Six Community!
