Veeramani, who has been arrested for raping of minor girls under the POCSO Act, was produced before a judicial magistrate of the Special POCSO Court in Chennai on Wednesday. The case relates to a complaint alleging the sexual abuse of a minor girl in Madurai with a complaint filed in Madurai police jurisdiction. The accused Veeramani was produced before the judicial magistrate S. Padma, who remanded him to judicial custody until October 21.
