The plot follows the pair as they explore second chances in their lives, and embrace the fact that they’re over 50. Ruth and Steve have shot the comedy in and around South Wales, including in the Brecon Beacons, with the action taking place in a fictional Welsh village called Brynfach. Elsewhere, Ruth’s former Gavin and Stacey co-star Joanna Page is being tipped to appear in this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! A source told The Sun that she is in “advanced talks” to enter the jungle this November, and that “all signs are looking positive”. “She’s a huge BBC star and it would be a coup if ITV can get her to sign her contract and put her front and centre on their biggest entertainment show,” the insider said. “She has confided in friends that she’s really keen to take part and wants to go on and make her children proud.” Comment now
