There is no age limit and candidates can appear for the examination any number of times.Indian nationals must complete GATE 2027 registration through a verified DigiLocker account. Candidates should therefore create or update their DigiLocker account before applying.GATE 2027 will be conducted as a computer-based test across 30 test papers. Candidates can choose one paper or up to two papers from the permitted combinations.FEES, FORMS AND A FEW IMPORTANT STEPSGATE 2027 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) across subjects covering Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce and Arts. IIT Madras has also introduced Robotics and Automation (RA) as a new test paper, along with syllabus changes in some existing papers.Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 for female applicants and those belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories. For all other candidates, the fee is Rs 2,000.
