Samsung has a killer deal on its Galaxy Z Fold 8 foldable, with a new discount taking the price down to $1,599 with a free Galaxy Watch included in the deal, though there is one slight catch. Normally priced at $1,899, Samsung is ramping up deals on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 ahead of Apple’s foldable iPhone announcement later today. Earlier this week, there was a discount on Amazon and other third-party retailers, and that’s now reaching Samsung.com with some additional bonuses. Samsung’s store is currently offering the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with a $300 instant discount. That takes the price of the foldable down to $1,599, undercutting the deal available at other retailers. That’s for the base 256GB model, with all variants currently in stock and shipping in a matter of days. Along with the $300 discount, you also get a credit that can be used for add-ons to the purchase. The credit, which Samsung says is $400 but appears to be as high as $600 for some – see below – can fully cover the cost of a Galaxy Watch 9, while also being able to cover add-ons such as Galaxy Buds and cases. You can mix and match the add-ons at checkout, but the credit must be used while you are buying the Fold 8 – it expires as soon as checkout is complete.
