Future of TV’s most x-rated show revealed after months of axe rumours

TELEVISION’S sexiest show Dating Naked UK has shrugged off the axe and filming is underway for season three. The Paramount+ series has been plagued by rumours it was for the chop but its future can now be revealed. It means Rylan won’t be in the UK this weekend to watch Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe launch Strictly Come Dancing after he did not land the top job. A source said: “Rylan made no secret of the fact he’d have loved to be chosen for Strictly but he also adores Dating Naked UK so there’s no better way for him to dust himself off. READ MORE ON DATING NAKED UK “There was suggestion this series was struggling but filming began this week and is already shaping up to be a corker. “Rylan loves hosting it because it’s so much fun, but also because something about dating starkers brings out such a raw emotion from the cast. It’s not just another dating show.” Rylan will be back in time to begin rehearsals for Sleeping Beauty, Birmingham Hippodrome’s big pantomime. It comes after it was revealed producers had opened up casting to Only Fans creators to fill the final spots on series three’s cast after uptake proved sluggish. Most read in Showbiz A source said: “Perhaps it might be because we Brits are a little more modest than our counterparts. “There is a US and a German version of the show and they never seem to have these problems. “To be fair, the American Dating Naked pixelates the private parts of the contestants, but there’s no such luck on the UK version.” The first British series ran in 2024 and the sequel was commissioned within weeks. Series two aired last August, with Welsh welder Rico Hammett and Derby glamour model Lauren Louise as winners. Comment now
