Fury as drug dealer dodges deportation to Albania because his daughter wets the bed

A DRUG dealer dodged deportation because his daughter wets the bed. Shpresim Koka convinced a tribunal judge that sending him back to Albania would be “unduly harsh” on the girl, given her accidents. The immigration court heard the youngster’s nightmares and bedwetting got worse whenever Koka, 38, was in jail. A social worker even warned the girl needed “therapeutic intervention”. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! Koka had claimed to be a Kosovan refugee when he arrived in Britain in 2001, aged 14. In 2017 he was jailed for 21 months for helping a drug gang launder cash. He had been caught by the National Crime Agency handing over more than £300,000 in Park Royal, West London. Koka was due to be deported after serving his sentence but remained in Britain. In 2022 he was jailed for three years for cocaine dealing. He appealed against fresh plans to deport him on the grounds his daughter would suffer and in February last year a First-Tier Tribunal immigration court ruled: “The effect on (the girl) would be unduly harsh.” Most read in The Sun The Home Office challenged the decision and a new hearing has been ordered. Robert Bates, of the Centre for Migration Control, said: “This crook must not be allowed to continue plaguing Britain’s streets. Alternatively, his daughter could return with him to Albania.” 4 comments4
