The 2026 NASCAR Window World 450 is officially in the books. Joey Logano won Sunday’s race in the Cup Series’ return to North Wilkesboro for a points race for the first time in 30 years. The night started with a lightning hold pre-race and pole sitter Ryan Blaney getting sent to the rear of the field because of an unapproved adjustment. Ty Gibbs edged out Shane van Gisbergen to win Stage 1. Gibbs, however, was penalized for speeding on pit road during the stage caution and was sent to the rear of the field to start Stage 2. That penalty mired Gibbs in the back as Joey Logano won Stage 2. Denny Hamlin finished second, but the story of the first two stages was Ryan Blaney finishing 8th in the second stage after going to the back of the field to start. Blaney however, was penalized for speeding under green flag stops in Stage 3. In the end, Logano was the class of the field with Hamlin not far behind, but it was clear that the Penske 22 was the clear car to beat.
