On Tuesday, some of Hollywood’s finest will descend on Los Angeles’ Peacock Theatre for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, celebrating the best in American television.The past year was packed with quality content, from prestige medical dramas such as The Pitt to long-standing comedy favourites such as Hacks. There were also a few new surprises, including the bendy sci-fi drama Pluribus, edgy comedy Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Apple TV’s surreal horror comedy Widow’s Bay.The Pitt is up for a string of awards, along with shows such as Hacks, The Bear, Slow Horses and Widow’s Bay.Max via APThis year’s ceremony may feel slightly shorter than usual.
