FULL INTERVIEW: Ylona Garcia on sonic growth, celebrating 10 years in music

She had first made waves with the single “O Pag-ibig,” which she sang alongside her fellow Pinoy Big Brother alum Bailey May in 2016. In 2022, she sang “Entertain Me” for the acclaimed first-person tactical hero shooter video game Valorant. As she enters her 10th year in the industry, Ylona approaches her music-making from a more personal perspective, and moves in a way that makes it clear that she’s in tune with all the experiences it took for her to get to where she is now.
