One of America's most recognizable low-cost carriers has had a total of 21 international routes in its network this year, as Frontier Airlines redeploys its aircraft elsewhere. The airline, which has a distinct livery depicting images of more than 200 animals on its aircraft tails, has cut services from Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte, Denver, Orlando, Midway, Miami, O'Hare, Raleigh and Tampa. Using data from Cirium, an online aviation analytics company, the report says the airline cut services between March and August, with Atlanta taking the brunt of the route cancellations, and the Georgia-based airport losing eight international routes. The shortest route from Atlanta was that of Nassau (NAS) in the Bahamas, at 726 miles (1,168 km), while the longest route was to the sunsoaked Dutch destination of Aruba(AUA) at 1,715 miles (2,761 km).
