Four different aperitifs are mixed with the family’s very own prosecco. You can’t go wrong with the Aperitivo, Hugo, Bellini or Lemon Spritz. Authentic, not too sweet and so delicious. The Bellini would be perfect in Harry’s Bar, Venice, where it originated. Groove Armada, X Signature BrewWildfarmed Lager, £3, 440ml, 5%, Waitrose – 5/5 Groove Armada, X Signature Brew Wildfarmed Lager is a tasty, gluggable Czech-style lager with biscuit and floral notes Credit: PR Supplied Made with a kinder footprint, the Do It Right lager is a collab between electronic hit-makers, regenerative farmers Wildfarmed and brewers Signature Brew IF you are fond of sand dunes and salty air, and want to keep them for future generations, this is a worthy brew to support. Ellie Goulding, Served, Lychee Martini £3.30, 250ml, 8%, Sainsbury’s – 3/5 Ellie Goulding has released ready-to-drink cocktail range Served Credit: Getty The Lychee Martini in its dusky pink tin is a smasher Credit: Supplied WHILE you await Ellie’s sixth album – I Know Too Much, due to be released on September 4 – enjoy hits from her ready-to-drink cocktail range Served. The Lychee Martini in its dusky pink tin is a smasher. Pale pink and sweet, it has a slight synthetic note, so it’s not as pure as I would like. But it’s good for the price. For something stronger, head to serveddrinks.co.uk for a 14.9% ABV option in 125ml tins (12 cans for £42). Olivia Attwood, Savano Hot Honey Margarita £3.60, 125ml, 15%, Amazon – 3/5 GIVEN her huge following, it’s no surprise Love Island favourite Olivia’s new, natty-looking Savano cocktails are a hit. Since launching two weeks ago the tins have sold out regularly. With their candy-cane packaging, these are well branded and affordably premium. The Hot Honey Margarita packs a fiery punch, while the Caipirinha and Moscow Mule are night-out worthy, if a tad sweet. With the Mule at 10% ABV and the other two at 15%, they’re pretty powerful. Jessica Ennis-Hill, Seven Summers Rosé £12.50, 7%, 7summers.co.uk – 5/5 Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill has brough out Seven Summers Rosé Credit: Getty The gold medal-winning Olympian’s wine hits the spot with its sappy salinity and red-berry charm Credit: Supplied I DID a double take when I saw this – a gold medal-winning Olympian bringing out a wine. But Dame Jess has always been about balance and loves pink plonk. Her wine has an ABV of just 7%, but you can barely tell. It still hits the spot with its sappy salinity and red-berry charm. Hats off to Master of Wine Ray O’Connor at Atelier Wines who teamed up with her to make it. Another winner. Gillian Anderson, G Spot non-alcoholic drinks, £2.50, 250ml, M&S – 4/5 Gillian Anderson’s G Spot non-alcoholic drinks Credit: Supplied The caffeine-free sparkling ‘functional’ drinks are made with natural nootropics Credit: Supplied THIS alcohol-free offering from X-Files actress Gillian is a grown-up soft drink without all the sugar. The caffeine-free sparkling “functional” drinks are made with natural nootropics (for cognitive function) and adaptogens (plants thought to help alleviate stress). The flavours – Awaken, Soothe, Lift and Arouse – are great booze-free options. Sip these slowly – they are worth the cash. Ryan Reynolds, Wrexham Lager £2.50, 330ml, 5%, Morrisons – 3/5 Ryan Reynolds has a hefty stake in the Wrexham’s beer company Credit: Getty The brewery, founded in 1882, offers a range of lagers and pilsners made with Welsh mountain water AFTER resurrecting football club Wrexham, actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney now have a hefty stake in the city’s beer company. The brewery, founded in 1882, offers a range of lagers and pilsners made with Welsh mountain water. Suitably smashable beers, especially when well chilled – perhaps more so than great-tasting notes. Perfect for a hot day or with a half-time pie.
