It has been nearly a decade since the world got to follow The Lord of the Rings timeline in theaters after The Hobbit trilogy was completed. However, the film series is making a massive comeback in 2027, with Andy Serkis not only reprising his role as Gollum, but helming the highly anticipated entry. As The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum is currently in production, Warner Bros. shared several new photos from the film, including the first look at Frodo in the upcoming adventure. A lot of the creative team who were part of Lord of the Rings are part of Hunt for Gollum. I'm just looking forward to seeing all those people again. It feels like a family reunion.
