In an age of horror reboots, it's actually been years since we've seen old Jason. The last movie was released in 2009, and while the upcoming Crystal Lake prequel series will feature a younger Jason, we're unlikely to see much of the monster he one day becomes. Fortunately, Friday The 13th fans can get reacquainted with the killer a little sooner. ScreenRant can exclusively reveal that Jason Voorhees is officially joining Hellbreak, the upcoming horror trading card game developed by Spin Master, Ghost Galaxy and Universal Products & Experiences. As the latest monster to enter the game, Horror Inc.'s Jason joins other legends like Dracula, the shark from Jaws (who I guess we're calling Jaws now for ease), and the Headless Horseman. Developed in collaboration with Ghost Galaxy, Hellbreak is a horror-themed trading card game where monsters and inhuman killers take each other on in head-to-head battles. Like Pokémon but with fewer cute animals and more axes and blood. Actually, it's nothing like Pokémon. Forget I said that. As you can see above, you have various types of cards that interact with one another in different ways. Jason himself is, of course, a Monster card, but there are other cards, such as Event cards, that show off some truly grisly scenes. Just look at Jason slicing off some poor dude's head. "The hockey-masked slasher has spent decades terrorizing Camp Crystal Lake and cementing his place as one of the most recognizable figures in the genre. Soon, players will be able to unleash him in strategic battles against a lineup of monsters from across film and entertainment."
