Crawley magistrates’ court dealt with the case in April but it has only just been disclosed in public records, obtained by The Sun. It came amid concerns over his position as the Blues’ No1 goalie. He was dropped for yesterday’s match against Brighton after Chelsea signed ­Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa. Sánchez arrived at Stamford Bridge from Brighton in 2023. Sánchez remained Chelsea’s No 1 despite a woeful start against Fulham following two mistakes in Chelsea’s 3-2 win. No keeper has made more mistakes leading to shots since the start of the 2024/25 season than the Spaniard.
