Submit your project to get started! In this interview, we sit down with Saul Fleischman, the creator of FoxPlug, an innovative tool that turns any real product URL or a quick screen recording into a comprehensive, white-label marketing and launch kit. Saul shares his journey of building an automated marketing pipeline specifically tailored for solo founders, indie makers, and build-in-public enthusiasts who want to seamlessly market their products without a massive marketing team. What does FoxPlug do? And why is now the time for it to exist?FoxPlug turns your real product — just a URL, or a 30-second recording in your browser (no install, no mic) — into a complete, 100% white-label launch kit: a launch video, GIFs, stickers, still cards, a citation-grade article, and native posts for 40+ channels. It's for solo founders and indie makers who can ship a product but stall the moment it's time to market it — one recording in, a launch's worth of content out, none of it carrying our name. Now’s a good time for FoxPlug to exist because the "vibe-coding" wave has empowered more builders than ever to ship products rapidly. Yet, the bottleneck remains the creation of compelling, multi-channel marketing assets. How many people does FoxPlug reach?FoxPlug is pre-launch, so direct reach today is small, and we won't pretend otherwise. But reach isn't an afterthought bolted on later — it's built into the model three ways: The gift loop compounds through the products we help. Every launch video we make is 100% white-label and lands on the recipient's own Product Hunt launch and media — so each asset reaches their audience, not just ours. FoxPlug's reach grows by making other people's launches reach further.Content built to be cited, not just ranked. Our comparison and long-form pages are fact-checked and citation-grade, structured to be surfaced by AI answer engines — reach through AI recommendation, which we measure over time.Native multi-channel output. One product update becomes posts tailored to each platform's real voice and character limits across 40+ destinations (Show HN, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, and more) — so a single ship can show up everywhere its audience already is, without a marketing team. The honest state: reach is nascent, but every mechanism is a compounding one — the give-first Product Hunt motion is already producing our first users, and it scales as we gift more launches per day.Who does FoxPlug serve? What’s exciting about your users and customers?FoxPlug is for solo founders, bootstrapped teams, and indie makers who ship in public — the people who can build a product but hit a wall the moment it's time to market it. Specifically: The "vibe-coding" wave: builders shipping real products fast, with no design or video skills, no editor, and no marketing team. They can code; they can't cut a launch video, make GIFs, write a Show HN, or produce a demo. FoxPlug turns their real work into all of it.Serial relaunchers who iterate and re-launch (v2.1, v2.2…) on Product Hunt again and again — and need fresh, on-brand launch assets each time, automatically, not hand-made from scratch.Build-in-public founders who want every meaningful ship — a feature, a milestone, a customer — turned into shareable content continuously, not just on launch day.Not for: big brands with agencies, or creators chasing viral entertainment (that's the AI-video-generator lane). FoxPlug is a founder's launch-and-market sidekick, white-label, from their real product. What technologies were used in the making of FoxPlug? And why did you choose the ones most essential to your tech stack?FoxPlug's powerful engine relies on a robust combination of web data scraping via Bright Data, a headless CMS powered by Storyblok, and a full suite of AI integrations including Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok, and ElevenLabs. To orchestrate the render pipeline seamlessly, we use a custom Playwright and ffmpeg setup alongside in-browser MediaRecorder captures, all tied together with React/TypeScript, Supabase for our database and edge functions, and hosted on Vercel and Cloudflare Pages. This tech stack was chosen specifically to handle the heavy lifting of automated multimedia generation in the cloud while ensuring a frictionless, zero-install experience directly in the browser for the user. What is traction to date for FoxPlug? While still in its early stages without revenue, FoxPlug has found strong initial traction by gifting fully white-labeled launch videos to Product Hunt makers who launched without one. This "give-first" loop is already converting real users and prompting genuine public gratitude from makers in Product Hunt threads. The entire automated pipeline is live in production today—turning real URLs and recordings into functional marketing kits—proving that this organic acquisition channel works effectively as the user base begins to grow. What excites you about this FoxPlug's potential usefulness? What excites me most is that I'm the user. I'm a solopreneur — I can build the product, but I never have the hours to premarket it or keep dripping out the videos, citation-grade articles, GIFs, and posts every advancement deserves. That marketing gap is where good products quietly die, and I've felt it on my own launches. FoxPlug closes it: I record my product once, or paste a link, and it turns my real work into a launch's worth of content — white-label, ready to post. It's the tool I kept wishing existed, so I built it.Meet our sponsorsBright Data: Bright Data is the leading web data infrastructure company, empowering over 20,000 organizations with ethical, scalable access to real-time public web information.
