McVitie’s launched its first savoury biscuit in almost 200 years, then answered fans’ prayers with a brand-new White Chocolate Hobnob. We’ve also enjoyed the new Jaffa Cakes Digestives, not to mention the limited edition brown sugar pancake Oreos. But now it’s time for autumn-flavoured treats and cosy drinks. And, as we say goodbye to six record-breaking heatwaves, a new snack is coming to the market this year. Arriving August 31, just in time for the harvest months, is Fox’s Pumpkin Spice Indulgent Creams. The treat will be available for a limited time and features a chocolate-coated shortcake biscuit with a pumpkin spice-flavoured cream centre, with cinnamon and ginger notes to sweeten the deal. The goodie will be available in Tesco, Asda, B&M, Heron and Ocado for an RRP of £3, until December 2026 as part of the brand’s seasonal range. Jo Harwood, chief sales and trade marketing officer at FBC (Fox’s & Burton’s Biscuits), told Metro: ‘Pumpkin Spice is one of the most recognisable Autumn flavours, yet it has never been available in branded sweet biscuits. ‘With our track record of bringing trending flavours into the biscuit aisle, we’re confident Pumpkin Spice Creams will drive incremental spend by bringing new shoppers into the brand, and adding category value by giving retailers a compelling seasonal proposition.’ Fox’s viral flavours range was first launched in 2025, with Dubai Style Indulgent Creams. The 173-year-old brand then launched Matcha Indulgent Creams this year, tapping into another viral foodie trend. In other seasonal foodie news, Greggs recently unveiled its autumn menu, with all manner of pumpkin-flavoured drinks and treats. Additionally, if you’re already thinking about Christmas, McVitie’s has just revealed four Christmas treats, including their first-ever festive Penguin Chocolate. Speaking of Penguin, Asda has officially relaunched Puffin bars, which were sued by McVitie’s in the 90s for their similarity to the Penguin bar. That’s not all; KitKat and Oreo have both recently released gingerbread-flavoured goodies to get you into the winter season. Though not everyone has been happy with how early winter products have been released, the new M&S Christmas baubles are already in stock, and people are calling it ‘absolutely ridiculous.’ More food from Metro Do you have a story you’d like to share?
