Four years after ban, fire departments stuck with hazardous PFAS foam

The state in 2022 banned the use of firefighting foams laden with PFAS, so-called "forever chemicals" linked to cancer and other health problems. But four years later, the state doesn’t have a plan to get rid of the foam, leaving fire departments are stuck with it.
