Four ways you can make extra cash to help fund activities over the summer holidays

FROM holidays to days out, we see the summer as a time for having fun. But all those activities can be a drain on your budget. GET SELLING: You could be sitting on a small fortune in items you no longer use. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! Clear out wardrobes, cupboards, sheds and under the bed, and list anything that you had forgotten about on sites such as Vinted and Facebook’s Marketplace. Small sales of a few quid can all add up to a healthy boost to your budget — and you have the added advantage of making extra space at home. Many banks offer customers a lump sum incentive to make the move. Just make sure that the new account suits all your needs.
