Inclement weather at the Little League Baseball World Series Sports Complex in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026. All four Little League World Series games scheduled for Thursday were postponed as organizers cited "prolonged inclement weather" in South Williamsport, Pa. The original schedule for Thursday called for two upper-bracket games in the international bracket -- Australia vs. Mexico and Curacao vs. Japan -- as well as two early-round games in the U.S. bracket -- Ohio vs. Nevada and California vs. Iowa. Instead, those four games were rescheduled for Friday, along with the original four games slated for that day. Texas will face Washington and Pennsylvania will tussle with New Jersey in the U.S. bracket, and on the international side, Panama will meet Nicaragua and the Czech Republic will face South Korea. Games will start at 9 a.m. ET and be played two at a time. Due to the impact of prolonged inclement weather in Williamsport, all games scheduled for Thursday, August 20, have been postponed.#LLWS pic.twitter.com/56Vhq0Nytw— Little League (@LittleLeague) August 20, 2026 --Field Level Media
